Accessing Voucher

How do I access my voucher?

To make your travels a breeze, we offer many ways to access your voucher:

Through email

You will receive your voucher in your confirmation email—usually within 15 minutes of booking your activities. However, sometimes it takes up to 48 hours to confirm certain activities.

We suggest adding noreply@rio.tours to your Safe Senders list to make sure you receive all our emails, including this one.

If you don’t receive the email, check your spam/junk folder.

On Rio.tours

You can always access your voucher through your Rio.tours account.

Simply log in to your account or create/reset your password. You can do this on your computer, on our mobile website, or on the Viator app. Once you’re logged in, here’s how to find your vouchers:

On your computer:

  1. Click on the Manage My Bookings link in the top right corner of Rio.tours
  2. You will see your vouchers there.

Will I be getting my tickets in the mail?

In most cases, your voucher will act as your ticket. If you require a separate ticket for your tour, the ticket will be given to you when you check in for your tour using the instructions under the Important section of your voucher.

TIP: Be sure to check your voucher to see if the Tour Operator is able to accept a paper or electronic voucher. If the Tour Operator can accept an electronic voucher, you’ll be able to use your phone or tablet instead of printing a copy of the voucher.

Do I have to print my voucher or can I simply show an electronic version on my mobile device?

Many of our local operators are happy to accept an electronic version of your voucher.  This can be accessed simply by opening the voucher on your cell phone or other portable device.  Other tour operators, however do require a printed, paper version of your voucher.  You can check the requirement for your specific tour on the website under the “Important Info” tab in the “Voucher Info” section.  This information will also be listed directly on your voucher.

If your tour requires a printed version and you do not have a printer, you may wish to try one of the following:

  • Check with your hotel concierge, as they may be able to print it for you.
  • Check at a local internet café location.
  • Forward the email containing your voucher link to another email address, where that computer has access to a printer (e.g. work email address).

After I make a booking, how long will I wait to receive my voucher?

Most vouchers will be received within 15 minutes.

Occasionally, we will need up to 48 hours to receive confirmation from the supplier. Once confirmation is received, your voucher will be e-mailed to you.

If you don’t see your voucher within this time frame, please check your spam or junk folder as sometimes our e-mails do get caught.


Amendments (Changes)

How do I make changes to my booking?

Need to change the date, or make another adjustment? Not a problem! In most cases, you can change your booking up to 3 days before your activity. However, please check the “Terms and Conditions” section of your voucher for the detailed policy for your specific activity.
